Wolfscastle Country Hotel & Allt-yr-Afon Restaurant held their Annual Ladies Day on 9th July 2017. The Ladies of Pembrokeshire dressed in their finest ladies day attire and enjoyed a Fabulous day out with a complementary Pimms on arrival and a delicious afternoon tea, Music from Honey Fungus and a Fashion Show from Boutique 1625. The atmosphere was amazing and a good time was had by all.

The total raised at this event was £3100, which was split between 2 Charities. Paul Sartori Hospice at Home received a cheque for £2000, and the Amani Children’s Home for street kids in Tanzania received £1,100.

Presenting a cheque for £2000 to the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home, Toni Dorkings, Community Fundraiser met with Andrew and Mandy Stirling in the new spa at The Wolfscastle Country Hotel.

Toni said “we cannot thank the ladies of Pembrokeshire, Andrew and Mandy enough for the support they give to Pembrokeshire’s Hospice at Home service. It is through support like this that we can continue to provide our vital service within Pembrokeshire”.

The Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service provides a range of services to people living in the final stages of a life limiting illness, including home nursing care, equipment loan, complementary therapy, bereavement and counselling support, clinical nurse specialist in palliative care, physiotherapy, advance care planning and training.

The services provided by the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service enable people in the later stages of any life limiting illness to be cared for at home with dignity, independence, pain free and surrounded by those they hold most dear.
